I will never work with Simbu"

Following a heavy amount of reports suggesting that Simbu and Lekha Washington have achieved a truce between them following the unceremonious dropping of Kettavan for which Lekha was reportedly signed for, the VJ turned actress rubbished them entirely earlier today.
Sections of the media had carried the news that Lekha was planning to shoot a short film for which Simbu had obliged to be a part of, in a bid to show his friendship towards the actress.
But Lekha clarified today that there was no such project. And to drive home the fact about her connection with Simbu, she said that she would never do anything associated with him now or in the future.
Lekha certainly seems to be a straight-shooter!

Muni 3 is coming

Following the success stories of Muni and Kanchana, which was marketed as Muni 2, there was intense speculation about Raghava Lawrence's next move.
There were reports that a Hindi remake of Kanchana was in the offing with Shahrukh Khan or Salman Khan in the lead and Sanjay Dutt playing the transgender character which Sarath Kumar made popular in the original.
However these stories have petered out now as nothing has come of it.
Kanchana ended with the promise of a sequel, so there had been talk of Lawrence working on Muni 3 as well. Now we hear that Muni 3 has materialized as Lawrence has readied the script and the film is all set to begin the shoot in December.
As in the other two, he will be directing and starring in the film himself.
Official details about the rest of the cast and crew are expected soon.

Rajesh and Udhayanidhi come together!

Rajesh and Udhayanidhi stalin, the magical combination that made a wave through Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, came together yesterday for the marriage reception of Rajesh’s associate Jagdish.
The celebrations happened at the Andhra club, T Nagar.

Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, Na Muthukumar and many other celebrities along with the entire team of Rajesh who have been working with the director in all his films had a fun time at the reception.

Ajith - Murugadoss combo next ?

We had earlier reported that Murugadoss might join hands with Ajith after the completion of their respective commitments.
Murugadoss may move on to the Hindi version of Thuppakki with Akshay Kumar while Ajith will complete films with Vishnuvardhan and Siva.

Aascar Films Ravichandran might be the producer for this rumored Ajith-Murugadoss project which is still in the discussion stage.

Sources say that this movie is almost confirmed but unless official word is out, we can’t be sure.
Their fans would be hoping that this successful Dheena combo will soon join hands again

அஜீத், விஜய் படம் - வேற காரணம் இல்லை! "

கெளதம் மேனன் - விஜய் இணைப்பில் உருவாக இருந்த ' யோஹன் ' திரைப்படம் கைவிடப்பட்டது.

ஏ.ஆர்.ரஹ்மான் இசையில் விஜய்யின் வித்தியாசமான கெட்டப்போடு விளம்பரங்கள் எல்லாம் வெளிவந்தது. ஆனால், விஜய் அப்படத்தில் இருந்து விலகிவிட்டார்.

அஜீத்தோடு இணைந்து 'துப்பறியும் ஆனந்த்' துவங்க இருப்பதாக இருந்தது.. ஆனால் அப்படத்தையும் அவர் தொடங்கவில்லை.

இதுகுறித்து இயக்குனர் கெளதம் மேனன் தெரிவித்திருப்பது " 'துப்பறியும் ஆனந்த்’ 1920-கள்ல நடக்கும் கதை. அதுக்கான ஸ்க்ரிப்ட் வேலைகளுக்கே கிட்டத்தட்ட ஒரு வருஷம் தேவைப்படும். இப்போ அதுக்கான நேரம் இல்லை. அதனால அஜித்துடன் படம் பண்ண முடியலை.

சூர்யாவை வெச்சுப் பண்ணலாம்னு 2013 மார்ச்ல இருந்து அவர்கிட்ட டேட்ஸ் வாங்கி அட்வான்ஸும் கொடுத்துட்டேன். ஆனா, 'துப்பறியும் ஆனந்த்’ ஸ்க்ரிப்ட் இல்லை. ஆக்ஷனும் காதலும் கலந்த ஒரு ஸ்க்ரிப்ட் அவருக்காக பண்ணிட்டு இருக்கேன்.

' யோஹன் ’ முழுக்க முழுக்க ஆக்ஷன் படம். 'எனக்கு ரொம்பப் பிடிச்சிருக்கு. ஆனா, ரொம்ப இங்கிலீஷ் டைப் படமா இருக்கு. இன்னும் நம்ம ஸ்டைல் சேர்த்து கொஞ்சம் தமிழாப் பண்ணலாம்’னு சொன்னார் விஜய்.

அதனால அந்தப் படம் பண்ண முடியலை. இப்போ அதே ஸ்க்ரிப்ட்ல மகேஷ்பாபுவை வெச்சு தெலுங்கு, தமிழ், இந்தினு மூணு மொழியிலும் ' யோஹன் ’ பண்றேன். இதைத் தவிர அஜித், விஜய்கூட படம் பண்ணாததுக்கு வேற எந்தக் காரணமும் இல்லை!'' என்று தெரிவித்து இருக்கிறார்.

ரஜினி கிருஷ்ணரா..?

ரஜினி கிருஷ்ணரா..?!

இந்தியில் அக்ஷய்குமார் தயாரிப்பு, நடிப்பில் வெளியான படம் 'Oh my God'. இப்படத்தினை பார்த்த ஐஸ்வர்யா தனுஷ் அப்படத்தை தமிழில் ரீமேக் செய்ய முயற்சிகள் மேற்கொண்டு வருகிறார்.

சமீபத்தில் அக்ஷய்குமாரை சந்தித்த ஐஸ்வர்யா இதுகுறித்து பேசி இருக்கிறார். 'ஒ மை காட்' படத்தினை வேறு நிறுவனங்களுடன் இணைந்து அக்ஷய்குமார் தயாரித்து இருப்பதால் ரீமேக் உரிமை பற்றி யாரிடம் பேச வேண்டும் என்று கேட்டு தெரிந்து கொண்டாராம்.

" கடவுளை நம்பாத பரேஷ் ராவல் ஒரு பிரச்னையில் சிக்குகிறார். அவரை காப்பாற்ற கிருஷ்ணர் (அக்ஷய் குமார்) பூமிக்கு வருகிறார் " இதுதான் ஒ மை காட் படத்தின் கரு.

அக்ஷய்குமார் நடித்த கிருஷ்ணர் வேடத்தில் தனது அப்பா ரஜினியை நடிக்க வைக்க திட்டமிட்டு இருக்கிறாராம் ஐஸ்வர்யா தனுஷ். படம் முழுக்க மூட நம்பிக்கைகளை தோலுரிக்கும் வசனங்கள், போலி சாமியார்களை தாக்கும் காட்சிகள் என விரிகிறது திரைக்கதை.

ரஜினி + ராஜமௌலி ?

ரஜினி + ராஜமௌலி ?!

கோச்சடையான் ' படத்தினைத் தொடர்ந்து ரஜினியின் அடுத்த படம் எதுவாக இருக்கும் என்பது தான் ரஜினி ரசிகர்களின் எதிர்பார்ப்பு.

ரஜினியின் அடுத்த படத்தின் இயக்குனர் கே.எஸ்.ரவிக்குமார், கே.வி.ஆனந்த், 'நான் ஈ' ராஜமௌலி.. என ஒரு யூகத்தின் அடிப்படையில் நீண்ட பட்டியலே இருக்கிறது.

இது குறித்து ரஜினிக்கு நெருங்கிய வட்டாரத்தில் விசாரித்த போது " ரஜினி இப்போதைக்கு கோச்சடையான் படத்தில் தான் முழுகவனம் செலுத்தி வருகிறார். அவரது உடல்நலம் பழைய நிலைமைக்கு திரும்பி இருக்கிறது.

தற்போது முன்பை விட பெரும் உற்சாகத்தில் இருக்கிறார். 'நான் ஈ' படத்தினைப் பார்த்துவிட்டு இயக்குனர் ராஜமெளலியிடம் நீண்ட நேரம் பேசினார். அப்போது தனக்கு ஒரு கதை ஒன்றை தயார் செய்யுமாறு தெரிவித்து இருக்கிறார்.

பிரபாஸ் நடிக்கும் படத்தினை முடித்து வெளியிட்ட பின் ரஜினி படத்திற்கான வேலைகள் தொடங்குவார் ராஜமெளலி" என்று தெரிவித்தார்கள்

12-12-12 is Rajinikanth's B' day plus ...?

This December 12, there is much more to Rajinikanth's birthday. On Superstar's birthday, team Studio Green is planning to release the audio of Karthi starrer Alex Pandian.
The film directed by Suraaj has Anushka as the female lead. The music is by Devi Sri Prasad.

What better way to celebrate the birthday of Rajinikanth, who immortalised the role of Alex Pandian in his Moondru Mugam.

Karthi's Alex Pandian is likely to release during the time of Pongal.

Vijay follows Ajith

Vijay is eager to move on to his next project to be directed by A.L.Vijay. This as yet untitled movie has Amala Paul opposite Vijay.

This movie will kick start its proceedings in Mumbai, which has become the new favourite among Tamil film makers, from November 23^rd.
Vijay had shot for a majority of his recent Thuppakki in Mumbai while Ajith is also currently shooting for his next film in Mumbai.

Looks like Vijay and Ajith would be shooting in nearby locales for their upcoming films in the ‘Maximum City’, Mumbai.

Simbu on Track

Post his Diwali release, Podaa Podi Simbu is back on the sets of Vaalu, directed by Vijay Chandar.

When Vaalu was announced, the team was eyeing for a Diwali release. But that didn’t happen, due to practical reasons.
Now that the schedule has resumed, the film is expected pretty soon, probably in early 2013.

The film has Hansika doing the female lead and Santhanam, VTV Ganesh, Naren, Sri Ranjani and Brahmanandham in supporting roles. Shakthi is helming the camera and NIC Arts is producing the flick.

Powerstar to clash with director

Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya, starring Santhanam, Powerstar and Sethu in the lead is in the last leg of shooting. Simbu shot for a cameo yesterday and the film is presently being canned at TR Garden, Porur.
The film is expected to hit the screens on 21^st December, alongside Bala’s Paradesi.

Thaman has composed music for the film and the album is expected to release very soon. Balasubramaniem, who helmed the camera for Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, Nootrenbadhu and Neer Paravai, is behind the lens for this one too.
Vishaka Singh plays the heroine and has shaken a leg along with Santhanam for a Kuthu number

Sivaji 3D to release Date

There has been a fair amount of hype for the 3D version of Sivaji ever since news emerged that such a version is being readied.

A press meet was held some time back where the 3D trailer of Sivaji was showcased and the amount of work that had gone into this 3D version was also detailed.

This film is now all set to hit the screens for Rajinikanth’s birthday, which falls on 12^th December. 400 screens would release this 2007 Rajinikanth blockbuster, rebooted in 3D.

We had earlier reported that Karthi’s Alex Pandian audio would also be launched on this day. Looks like it’s going to be triple ‘dhamaka’ on 12 – 12 – 12.

THUPPAKI AND PODA PODI REVIEW'S

Diwali release movies had satisfied the fans with their expectation in all class like action, comedy , masala stuff thuppaki and love, songs poda podi .
Thuppakki has taken one of the best opening in Tamil Cinema history at Tamilnadu & Kerala! Amazing collections on Day 1.
PodaaPodi also opened to positive reports in around 400 screens. Nice!
Both the movies have hit a decent opening on the special day, let's see a one liner review's on Diwali release movies..
Thuppakki Movie Review: Good storyline but not executed effectively as commercial elements spoiled the flow. Technically solid! (6/10)
Podaa Podi Movie Review: Urban style Rom-com with more focus on fun part & works in bits and pieces. Time-pass! (6.5/10)
