Power Star breathes Relife After being remanded under custody for almost two weeks Power Star Dr. Srinivasan was released from Puzhal jail last night.  The actor got into a legal soup after being accused of financial fraud by a businessman.  The actor can breathe freely for now but he is not completely relieved from the case as it’s still open for hearing soon. The release comes as a relief to his fans and supporters but more so to the industry.  Several projects that the Power Star was involved with suffered disruptions in schedule. Particularly the team of Santhanam’s ‘Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya’ will be keen on completing the Power Star’s portions before any further complications arise with his case.

• STR has been surprised by the sudden constant reports in the media about Manmadhan 2 and that he is working with Anirudh Ravichander in this movie.
•  He has clarified that he has to first complete the script of this sequel.
• He has requested his media friends to leave Manmadhan 2 aside for the time being. As of now, he is super busy with films like Podaa Podi and Vaalu. 
• Vettai Mannan would be resumed after the completion of these films.
• There are reports that Podaa Podi would be his first release. Gemini Film Circuit is distributing this movie which stars Varalakshmi opposite him. The recent single track and teaser of this flick have pleased STR fans and his toned look has won him extra brownie points.

• Director A.R.Murugadoss is currently busy giving finishing touches to his Thuppakki featuring Vijay. He is also looking to launch his younger brother as a hero and is scouting for a suitable title for this launch film. 

• This is where Ajith's film came in handy. His first film, Dheena, with Ajith had a popular song titled Vathikuchi Pathikaadhuda, which created a whole new fan base for Ajith.

• Murugadoss has taken the first word of this song and fixed it as the title for his younger brother's debut feature. So, Vathikuchi, it would be. Official updates are awaited in this regard.

• Vijaya Productions have plans to do a film with Ajith to be directed by Siruthai Siva. 
• This film would kick-off once Ajith completes his film with Vishnuvardhan.

• The production house also has plans to make a film with Vijay once he is done with Thuppakki and his untitled film with director A.L.Vijay. Now, who will direct this film is still open to debate and whether Ajith's film would kick-off first or Vijay's film would, is also something that the production house has to update.

• The makers have developed a Neethane En Ponvsantham app which will be available to all android, iphone and Java phone users! Gautham Menon talked about it  at length and said that the app will have all the eight songs composed by Ilaiyaraja which can be downloaded or listened to. Trailers, teasers, deleted scenes, making of the movie are the other added attractions.

• The NEP app also allows fans to interact with Jiiva, Samantha and Gautham Menon as questions posted will be personally answered. 
• The app can also be linked to facebook and twitter and users can get immediate updates about the film. This innovative move by the makers is likely to pay off big time!

• Powerstar Srinivasan is a part of Thillu Mullu's remake as reported previously. 
• Power star would be playing the role played by Nagesh in the original. While Nagesh gives the idea to Rajini about having a duplicate character based on mustache, what would Power Star suggest to Shiva in the remake? Would be interesting to see!

• This remake of Thillu Mullu also features Isha Talwar, Kovai Sarala and Prakash Raj among others. 
• Yuvan and MSV join hands to compose the music for this film which is directed by Badri.
