• After a good opening weekend that fetched 38 crores net thanks to a huge Sunday, Bol Bachchan sustained well on the crucial first Monday with collections of 6 crores. Going by the Monday trending, the first week should be in the range of 58 to 59 crores. 

• This is the Rohit Shetty - Ajay Devgn team’s best opening weekend beating the likes of much appreciated films like Golmaal 3 and Singham. 

• Now the next question in Bollywood industry circles is whether Bol Bachchan will hit the lucrative 100 crores mark. That looks a distant figure with Cocktail slated to release on Friday; multiplexes would give first preference to the Saif starrer while single screens would still prefer to keep Bol Bachchan for around 3 weeks. 

• With Cocktail expected to be Saif’s best opener at least in multiplexes, this Friday would see a very interesting battle between the upmarket Cocktail and the more family oriented Bol Bachchan.
