• The Mozart of Madras, A.R. Rahman is a predominant presence in Bollywood as well and his music for Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar, released in late 2011, was spellbinding to say the least.
•  This score has received a total of seven nominations at the 3rd Chevrolet Global Indian Music Academy (GIMA).
• The nominations include Best Music Arranger and Programmer, Best Background Score, 
• two nominations for Best Playback Singer Male along with Javed Ali and Mohit Chauhan,
•  Best Music Director, Best Film Song and Best Film Album.
