Ajith's Gym Workout Hit's Social N/W Sites

Ajith's gym workout creates a frenzy

Fans always crazy about social networking sites to share about their star's especially for Ajith its even bigger..
Ajith's workout stills in the gym have created a major frenzy in the social media space since the morning.
Even celebs have been re-tweeting these snaps to their followers. Director Vishnuvardhan had clicked these snaps in Mumbai while Ajith was pumping some iron in the gym.
After posting these pictures, Vishnu signed off by saying that he will post the next set of workout pictures after 30 days.
In this meanwhile, the shoot of the film will also be going on and Ajith would also continue building up.
Is it going to be another 6 pack treat for the fans? Looks very likely at the moment seeing Ajith's beefed-up avatar.

Their is always a war between the fans who is the best music composer in tamil which take over by the young music director yuvan..
Malayalam director Shajoon Kariyal is all set to begin his next venture.
The film is about five friends and a two-hour incident they come across.
Biju Menon, Lal, Suresh Krishna, P Sukumar and Sunil Babu play the five friends and Biju, who is also the co-producer of the film plays a percussionist from AR Rahman’s band.
So, the makers are planning to bring AR Rahman on board, not to compose music, but to do a cameo in the film.
They are also hoping the ace composer would give his nod for this.
Yuvan Shankar Raja recently did a cameo in the Ajith starrer Billa 2. Will Rahman take the same route?
Rahman has his own style to accomodate hope we have new type of music..

Katrathu tamil Ram to Direct for Gautham menon

I wanted a script like Taare Zameen Par, Gautham Menon

The director cum producer gautham menon revealed that he is inspired by a hindi film which drives him to produce film..
Gautham Menon is a busy man. He is working on Neethane En Ponvasantham with Jiiva and Samantha in the lead and has Yohan: Adhyaayam Ondru and Thuppariyum Anandhan.
Meanwhile, he is also producing a film, Thanga Meengal, directed by Katradhu Tamizh fame Ram.
On why he decided to produce the film, he said that Taare Zameen Par inspired him to take up a film on a social issue.
“That’s when Ram presented me the beautiful script”, said the director. He also said that it was he who forced Ram to do the central character as Gautham felt that only Ram can understand the complete nuances of the script.
The film stars Ram, Sadhana, Sally, Padmapriya and Rohini. Yuvan Shankar Raja has again collaborated with Ram after Katradhu Thamizh. Arabind Sara is handling the camera and Sreekar Prasad is editing the film.
Let his production be open for young and new face's too..

Alexpandian starring Karthi is Suraj’s fifth outing in Kollywood and the director is on a mission to create an unmatchable reputation for Karthi with this film.
The team is going steady with their shooting schedules and the next one will start on 17^th August.
A major part of the schedule will happen around the airport and the harbour.
The film also has Anushka and Santhanam in pivotal roles.
Nikitha, Sanusha, Suman and Prathap Pothen form the rest of the cast list.
Milind Soman, who played villain in Karthi starrer Paiyya, is again doing the bad guy in this film.
Devi Sri Prasad is composing the tunes and Studio Green is producing the film

kanna laddu thinna aasaya Santhanam's 'kuthu'

Santhanam is roaring with his new production team and film starring power star also have a kuthu number performing himsellf....
That Santhanam is turning a producer with a movie called Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya is old news.
Power Star Srinivasan is co-starring with the comedy king and Vishakha Singh is the heroine.
The shoot of this film is fast progressing and there have been many stills doing the rounds.
Now for this movie, Santhanam has done a kuthu number in Thaman's music, along with Vishakha Singh.
He has already put on his dancing shoes in numbers like Venam Machaan to good effect and sources say that this song has also come out very well.
So santhanam as a dancer gonna rock like the one which did earlier the hit number vena machan vena.. hope this too click for him...

Venkat Prabhu's Next big plan

Venkat Prabhu is occupied with Biriyani, starring Karthi and Richa Gangopadhyay.
He is currently in Malaysia for the music composing along with his brothers Premgi and Yuvan Shankar Raja.
There are rumors that he is set to float his own production house soon.
His assistant directors are also getting ready with their own projects.
Seems, the Mankatha director is having a solid run.

Udhayanidhi and Sundar C in a cult remake

We had earlier carried a news stating that Udhayanidhi Stalin is looking to remake 1985's cult comedy Aan Paavam and establish himself more as a salable hero.
Now, he has got the perfect director to realize his vision.
Sundar.C, it's going to be. After the success of Kalakalappu, Sundar has reaffirmed his mastery over comedy and he is currently busy with MGR starring Vishal. Post this project, he will be directing Udhayanidhi.
Official details are awaited in this regard. Will it be Santhanam again as the co-star?

I still love Nayanthara says STR

STR and Nayanthara were recently spotted together at a film function in a star hotel and they were happily chatting together just like old times. Remember these two young stars were involved in a rumored relationship a few years back around the release of Vallavan in 2006.
They later fell apart and weren't on speaking terms but now the two stars have moved on without any bitterness and share a good friendship and have mutual respect for each other.

Finally Vijay gets Thuppakki

AR Murugadoss is under a lot of stress, with the shoot for the film on one side and the title issue against Kalla Thuppakki on the other side. But good news reached him recently.
The murmur is that Vijay TV has bagged the satellite rights of Thuppakki for a huge sum. Vijay TV had also previously bought the Vijay starrer Nanban for a massive sum of Rs 12 crores.
Thuppakki features Vijay, Kajal Aggarwal, Vidyut Jamwal, Jayaram, Anupama Kumar, Sathyan and Deepthi Nambiar in pivotal roles.
Santosh Sivan is helming the latest ARRI digital technology and Sreekar Prasad is before the editing desk. Harris Jayaraj is composing music for the film.

Next Reveal Ajith - Vishnuvardhan movie's title and first look ..

The first look and title of Ajith's new untitled movie with Vishnuvardhan will be out soon. The shooting has already been done around Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai.
Ajith was then seen pumping iron in the gym and now another schedule is to happen in Mumbai for the next two months.
Fans are gearing up for the title and their wait will just about to end soon. Arya, Nayanthara, Taapsee and Rana are also part of the cast in this A.M.Rathnam production.
Other Vishnuvardhan regulars like Yuvan Shankar Raja and Sreekar Prasad are also part of the crew.
The film might just about hit the screeens by the end of the year.
With other biggies also slated for release, this Ajith movie might pe pushed further or advanced accordingly.

Matraan special : It took Suriya 2500 shots

To do a double role in the film requires a lot of efforts. And to do conjoined twins requires more.

We hear that Suriya had to take 2500 shots for KV Anand's Maattraan.

It is probably the most for an actor, speculate reports.

Maattraan audio launch is all set to happen on August 9^th in Singapore.

Music director Harris Jayaraj is expected to perform live at the grand event.

But, fans continue their quest for one-upmanship for their favorite star.
In the same way Dhanush and STR, and their respective fans also have been having some frictions with one another.
But, off late at the SIIMA Awards and at Dhanush's birthday party, the two stars have been making an effort to forge a strong bond of friendship.
To take this further, there are efforts to rope in STR to sing a song for Dhanush in Mariyaan, the latter's forthcoming project with Bharat Bala and A.R.Rahman.

Director Selvaraghavan is keen to return to India

Selvaraghavan has completed the climax and pre-climax portions of Irandam Ulagam, his upcoming ambitious project featuring Anushka and Arya in the lead roles.
He updated the status of this project in his Twitter page.
There was an extended schedule in Georgia and the director has completed that schedule.
He is now looking forward to coming back to India

Mankatha director Venkat Prabhu has tweeted "Two years ago this day I shot mankatha trailer with namma Thala marking his anniversary!!

Finally Decision on Thuppakki on 6th

Thuppakki has been running into troubles over its title since a long time. This issue has been widely covered.
This stalemate over the title just got extended by some more days.
The hearing has been postponed to August 6th.

Maatraan track list is out

The audio launch of Maatraan is scheduled for August 9th in Singapore. Harris Jeyaraj, Suriya and KV Anand team up again after their successful Ayan.
The audio rights have been bagged by Sony Music and the track list is out.
There are 5 songs totally sung by acclaimed singers like Shreya Ghoshal, Karthik and Aalaap Raju to name a few.

The names of the tracks are Koni, Theyae Theyae, Kaal Mulaitha, Irattai Kathire and Yaro Yaro. The lyrics for these songs have been penned by Viveka, Pa. Vijay, Madhan Karky,
Na. Muthukumar and Thamarai respectively.

Family comes first: Actor Vijay

Vijay organized a special function for his fans who have been slogging it out for his charity organization, Makkal Iyakkam. The office bearers of his fan clubs who had done exceptional service for those in need were honored with gold rings and chains.
Vijay commended them for the excellent work they have done in his name and asked them to continue to reach out to the needy.
In his speech, Vijay also had some advise for the fans. He requested them to make their own families their top priority. He said that it is his humble request that they take care of all their family's needs before reaching out to help others because the family should come first. Needless to say his fans were all ears and are keen on keeping up the good work.

Rahman's score nominated

The Mozart of Madras, A.R. Rahman is a predominant presence in Bollywood as well and his music for Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar, released in late 2011, was spellbinding to say the least.
This score has received a total of seven nominations at the 3rd Chevrolet Global Indian Music Academy (GIMA).
The nominations include Best Music Arranger and Programmer, Best Background Score,
two nominations for Best Playback Singer Male along with Javed Ali and Mohit Chauhan,
Best Music Director, Best Film Song and Best Film Album.

My fans' appreciation is enough for me ... says Ajith

Billa 2 had a huge opening at the box-office but since it was replete with just action, a section of the audience didn't take well to the film.
Ajith Kumar was quizzed about the performance of the film in a recent media interaction.

He revealed that he had delivered his best and that his fans have appreciated his sincerity and hard work.
He also added that beyond a point he doesn't worry about feedback on his film.

The actor presently has Vishnuvardhan’s untitled project in hand.
He has also done a cameo in Sridevi’s English Vinglish.

Billa 2 betters Nanban

Billa 2 has wowed Malaysian audiences and has collected the highest amount for a Tamil film released in 2012 so far.
It has bettered other big films like Nanban and 3. According to an authentic box-office portal, till date,
Billa 2's collections stand at a very healthy $906,298 which is more than 5 crores in Indian rupees. Nanban collected around 4.86 crores in Malaysia.
Ajith's opening and star power have done the trick yet again. Malaysia also continues to be a huge overseas market for Tamil films.
Overall at the Malaysian box-office this year, Billa 2 stands at No.30 in the roll of honour with Hollywood blockbusters like The Avengers and The Amazing Spiderman leading the way.

Suryah wants Shankar and Venkat Prabhu

SJ Suryah is busy with his romantic-musical Isai.
He had earlier disclosed that he is planning to rope in four top directors to do cameos in the film.
He has already shot a sequence with director Vishnuvardhan.
Now we hear that he is trying to get Shankar, Venkat Prabhu and Lingusamy for Isai.
Suryah did a guest appearance in Nanban for Shankar. It is expected that Shankar might give a nod as a sign of friendship.

Celebs at STR's bash for Dhanush

Currently, the talk of tinseltown is the surprise birthday party, STR threw for his buddy, Dhanush.
He went all out to make it a memorable occassion for Dhanush. A special Aadukalam cake featuring a rooster was the piece de resistance in honor of Dhanush's National Award win for the film.
Celebs at this super bash included Tamannah, Amala Paul, Premgi Amaren, Sarathkumar, Narain, Jai, Santhanam, Vetri Maaran, Anirudh, Radikaa Sarathkumar and Aishwarya Dhanush.
Dhanush was deeply touched and tweeted, "and i thank Simbu for throwing such a nice party.
it was a surprise party and i had a nice time." Veterans Sarathkumar and Radikaa wished the birthday boy and commended the two young stars for their friendship despite being professional rivals as it sets a good example on sportsmanship.

Ajith pleases the National Award winner

The news that Ajith is playing a cameo role in Sridevi's comeback movie "English Vinglish" is well known by now.
He will be seen in a 3 minute cameo and this scene will be shot in Tamil and Telugu.
The producer of this movie, R.Balki is very pleased and admits to feeling honored to work with Ajith.
Balki himself is a celebrated film maker after films like Cheeni Kum and Paa. He even won a National Award for Paa in the Best Feature Film in Hindi category.
Balki has described Ajith as a mega star and is pleased to have Thala playing Amitabh's role in the Tamil version.
So, this will be Ajith's 52nd release and 2nd release in 2012, after Billa 2.

Kochadaiyaan on the lines of Batman, Spiderman and Superman

Rajini's upcoming Kochadaiyaan is making a lot of news as the release date is nearing. Dr J Murali Manohar, Director of Media One Global Entertainment Ltd.
whose company is co-producing the movie along with Eros Entertainment had a lot of interesting things to share about the Superstar's latest movie.
All international gaming companies have approached the makers for creating games based on the movie.
Not only that, they are also looking to launch comics based on the movie, making it the first Tamil movie spawning comic books.
The best comic book companies in India are inquiring.
It must be noted that DC Comics and Marvel Comics are legendary comic brands in the US which have inspired major superhero movies like Batman, Spiderman and Superman.
Now Kochadaiyaan comics will be another addition in this illustrious list.
Earlier, they had also tied up with Karbonn mobiles for launching special edition Kochadaiyaan mobile phones.
In addition to all this, the team is also making sure that piracy and content security are taken care of.

Maatraan is mastered

The audio launch date of Maatraan has been fixed for August 9th in Singapore, which happens to be a public holiday there.
Sony Music had earlier acquired the audio rights for a huge sum.
The mastering and mixing of this Harris Jeyaraj musical was done in the US.
The final master has been delivered to Sony Music and there are 5 songs which are expected to rock.
The director-actor-music director trio has delivered chartbusters and that only ups the expectations even more.

Big buzz on Mirattal

Mirattal, starring Vinay Rai, Santhanam and directed by R. Madhesh is getting a big release tomorrow all over the state in more than 300 theaters.
The trade is gung-ho about this movie as the trailers have promised a lot of masala in the form of action, comedy and romance.
The producers of Mirattal, Mediaone Global Entertainment are also doing Kochadaiyaan.
The songs of Mirattal are prominently being played in music channels even before release thanks to the producers' aggressive marketing strategies.

Pirated Kochadaiyaan?

Soundarya R Ashwin looks a very meticulous director.
A recent report says that the possibility of Kochadaiyaan getting pirated is almost impossible. The producers boast that the film cannot even go out of the post-production studio.
“Soundarya personally keeps an eye on who comes in and goes out of the lab. A server has been installed to prevent access. Only a person from the Kochadaiyaan team, who has an access card, can enter the suite. Even downloading needs authorization from Soundarya.
And we don’t allow any portable drives inside the suite,” said Murali Manohar, Director of Media One Global Entertainment Limited.

Ajith says "AM Ratnam is like a brother to me"

AM Ratnam earlier had a misunderstanding with Ajith. But now the producer is funding Ajith’s next film with Vishnuvardhan.
Ajith in a recent interview said, “Yes, there was an issue between us. But time has changed it.”
The Billa 2 star added, “AM Ratnam is like a brother to me.
He has always been very supportive of my films. When he asked me for a call sheet, I couldn’t hesitate to give him one.”

Gemini Film Circuit is planning a good initiative with some of the best directors in Tamil cinema and Bollywood. From Tamil, 4 prominent names, Gautham Menon, Vetrimaaran, Venkat Prabhu and A.R.Murugadoss have been chosen to make one hour films based on the various facets of cinema.
Looks like a praiseworthy initiative worth watching out for.

The lonely Ajith ..

It is very rare to spot Ajith in an award function or a public place. He recently opened up on why he is always secluded.
“My friends abandoned me when life was tough,” said the actor with one of the largest fan bases in TN, with a smile in his face.
He always says “Live, let live”.
“I’ll survive even if I lose my market. This solitude was created by and for me. This is good for me. Even today I have friends, but true ones…”
